THUNDER WINS BEAR CREEK CHAMPIONSHIP

November 8, 2007

The Thunder won the Bear Creek Fall League championship game on 11/02/2007 by a score of 11 to 10. It was a hitting display by both teams ending with the Thunder winning in the bottom of the seventh. Michael Wolfskill doubled to left field and Aaron Zwahr drove him home for the winning run. It was a great game with the Thunder down early. Ben Distefano tied the game on a grand slam giving the Thunder the momentum.

The Thunder team was made up of 13 to 16 year olds and coached by Keith Elliott and Greg Branning. Thank you both for a great fall season.
